    1. General Study of the following Kavyas; Ramayana : Mahabharata, Shrimad -Bhagavata, Buddha Charita, Saundarananda, Raghuvansha, Kumarasambhav. Meghadute, Ritusamhara, Padyachudamani, Bhattikayya, Hayagrivavadha, Janaki Harana, Kiratarjuniya, Shishupala vadha, Naishadhacarita, Shri Kantha charita, Harvijaya, Nalachampu, Rajatarangini, Vikraman--kadeva-Charita and three Manjaris by Kshemendra.
    2. General study of the dramas of the following authors-
      Bhasa, Ashvaghosha, Kalidasa, Shudraka Vishakhadatta, Shriharsha, Bhavabhuti , Rajshekharam, Murari, Jayadeva, Shri -krishna-Mishra.
    3. General study of the following prose writers :
      Bana, Dandin, Subandhu, Pandit Raj Jagganath Dhanapala , Soddhala.

    3. Kridanta
      The following pratyayas only-
